Pint on tap at the source in Cabo San Lucas. A bright peach color with three fingers of creamy off-white foam. Aroma is mellow Belgian spice that recalls clove and coriander, orchard fruit (peach or apricot), fresh straw, a little sourdough bread. This is a particularly fruity saison on the palate, with the requisite phenolic notes present but downplayed. Peach, apricot, and even a little cherry, licorice root, and clove dance in and out. Body on the thin side for the style but still anchored within moderate territory, with fairly aggressive carbonation. Dry fruity finish with grassy hop echoes. Sort of a saison for the masses, not as funky as many and with the ABV similarly dialed down. Nevertheless, a welcome treat in these parts.
