This beer poured a very cloudy dark amber color with a thin tan head. It has a very sweet taste that is a bit cloying, but the creamy mouthfeel is very pleasant. The most distinct sense in the first sips of this beer is of heavy alcohol. This moderates as the beer wams to provide a bit of caramel flavor. The caramel also comes through at warmer temperatures in the nose which is quite lemony at the start. Thin lacing was noted.
