Pumpkin Ale

Very beautiful clear mid-amber brew that had a thin white head. This seasonal ale, oddly offered in the spring rather than the fall, looks much better than it tastes. Although the appearance was inviting neither the flavor nor the nose give much of an impression. The nose, though light, was of malt. The taste that came through most clearly was an odd cinnamon flavor that is apparently responsible for the pumpkin designation. The taste is very dry and it left almost no sense of hops.
