On tap at the Better Weather Fest at Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a clear orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks and tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and caramel. Taste is much the same with a slight bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty average beer that is drinkable but unexciting.

On-tap at Taps Brea
A: The beer pours an amber/copper color with an off-white head.
S: There's a nice toffee and bread sweetness to it to begin with. There are faint floral hop notes and some definite yeast. It's somewhat earthy as well.
T: Pretty decent sweetness to this with some bread and toffee notes. Definitely a bit of metal and maybe even some corn. Some earthy hops and a light grass note.
M: The body is medium with a medium carbonation.
O: Not a bad aroma, but a pretty lackluster flavor profile.

A- copper color, very clear and with a small white head.
S- grainy malt
T- very common US O-fest style, not much hop
M- very smooth and well carbonated
D- As an O-fest should be...very easy to drink.

This beer was a lighter than usual color for an octoberfest beer. It was a light brown/copper that came with no head and left no lace. All it had going for it in appearance was its clarity. There was a faint smell of malt in there but I smelled very little of anything in this beer. The taste was average for an octoberfest beer. A bit malty but no other flavors of any type. Can't tell if its old, maybe its peaked. The mouthfeel was that of a medium bodied beer which was interesting as this is a lager. This was not my favorite beer and probably wouldn't buy it again.

Served with the main course at the Taste of the Harvest Beer Dinner, Taps O-fest had a clear dark russet color and a modest creamy light beige head.
The smell was slightly fruity and solidly of caramel malt. The taste had a sweet fruitiness, like plums, with a robust earthy malt flavor throughout. The finish was faintly hopped.
The feel was medium-bodied and smooth.
Overall, the Oktoberfest was a slightly above average brew. Solidly loaded with malt flavor, I found this offering didn't do much to make me really take notice of it. I'd go with another beer, like their hefeweizen.
