This is a dark ruby brown colored beer topped with just a small white lace. The aroma hits the spot with a very toasty note upfront, although the overall intensity of the aroma is light. The beer is light enough where it's easy to drink, but flavorful enough to get you thinking. A pleasing cocoa-bite from the malt and the distinct toastiness gives El Moreno a pleasurable experience.
