On tap at Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, CA.
Pours a clear gold with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt/grain and some slight grassy aromas. Taste is of grain, grass, hay, and some spicy hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp and somewhat dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that tastes much better than it smells.

On-tap at Taps Brea
A: The pour is a clear golden straw color with a couple of fingers of white head.
S: Not a terribly fragrant beer. Mild malt aroma with some hints of bread. Floral and citrus hops start to come through a little bit as I stick my nose almost in the beer. Perhaps some fruit esters?
T: Not a terribly traditional flavor. Quite a hoppy beer for a Czech style pils, and some definite citrus notes in addition to the floral ones. Sweet pale malts and a hint of corn. Yeast is present and there is a mild bitterness on the back end.
M: Light to medium in body with a moderate level of carbonation.
O: A fairly good beer, but not exactly what I was expecting to get from this one.

On-tap at the Corona location, on to the beer:
This pilsner is pale gold in color, with foam that leaves a little retention and lacing. From here on out, it's all about Sazzy hops. Sharp hops hit you in the aroma, with "green" and leafy aromas. The taste was where I wasn't sure which way this would go. At first, it was very steeley and sharp with the bitterness. As time went on, I acquired the steeley taste and made it pleasant for myself. Fresh cut grassy flavors come out, tinges of honey arise, and aftertaste notes of lime with the large bitterness sealing the deal. Crisp and clean in the mouth, especially as it hits the lips, and it becomes enjoyable to drink.
Good Czech pilsner we have here. Unlike others, this one hits you in the face instead of settling for being subtle.

Had a pint of this pils last night while waiting for the beer dinner at Taps. It had a clear golden color and minimal carbonation observed and a modest white head that quickly faded away.
The nose was, for the most part, missing. There were some very mild grainy malt notes but I thought the hops would have been more evident. As it was, they were barely present. The taste was more in line with what I expected - a nice flavor of grains up front, a touch of fruitiness, and a slightly citrusy herbal hoppiness in the finish. Still, the hops just didn't project themselves very assertively here. The feel was light headed toward medium bodied, not very crisp, and rather, well, wet. This brew just didn't ahve that good crisp dryness I've found in other pilseners.
Overall, this brew had decent drinkability. Nothing great here, a bit sub-par compared to others I've tried.
