Pours virtually flat from growler. Murky brown. Smells unlike anything else I've ever tried, and not in a good way. My drinking partner got notes of garlic sausage, while I leaned more towards garbage/compost.
This beer confuses my tongue. Dirty mop water. No real hop or malt dominance. Maybe a Belgian-y yeast. Alcohol is well hidden, for what its worth. We both got through a few sips, then dumped the remainder (a rare occurence). I really hope that something was off with this batch and not representative of the brewery.
