First time trying this beer. Flavor is very even for a 9% beer but is not as strong as a standard IPA of the same strength. Thin but pleasant head. Very happy with it. Will look for it again.

Whitish straw color (cloudy). Scattered spots for lace.
Mild, (warm) milky aroma. Light hop in the background.
Interesting pale malt start with overtones of alcohol. The hop is strong and biting leaving the beer just shy of extreme. The carbonation is high making the moderate body seem watery. The aftertaste mellows over time starting with a bit of a hop bomb.

Poured a honey color with a 2F head in a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Aroma: pine, earthy.
Great MF. Viscous , silky.
Taste: pine, sweet, honey.
I really like this IPA. One of the better IPA MF’s I have tasted in a while. Excellent pine flavor.
Smooth. Another innovative Boston area brewery.

I'm certainly not one of those people who can identify the look and personality of each specific hop variety, but I can tell you that I'm not a fan of whatever hops these are. I can't quite find the right words to describe the taste, but it's almost a little too funky for me. It's a pretty orange haze, with a lacy head. The aroma isn't super appealing and the ABV is way more apparent than I want it to be. I'll be sharing the rest of the can.

I tried this after a long day of tasting at other breweries in and around Boston, so my rating might not be entirely accurate.
