Garde La Pechê is refreshingly tart from the first sip with a round mouthfeel and increasing sweetness, many sun-ripened bushels of peaches per batch. A bright and refreshing pairing for a fine summer day.

16oz. can into a Surly teku.
Nose is spritzy. More sweet than tart with a noticeable juiciness and effervescence. Beer opens subtle and mildly tart. Almost berliner-y with a soft tartness. Peach meat and peel in the middle with a light pucker towards the end. Good balance. Body is light with ample carbonation. Foamy in the mouth and goes down crisp, drinkable.
Pretty crushable!

Cloudy, pale gold color. Light head which leaves only a couple of spots for lace.
I expected sweet and flowery, but the smell I got was earthy, almost like motor oil, and sour.
The body is thin with a low carbonation--watery. Very sour as if lemon juice was added to the beer. Trying very hard, I could taste a touch of peach deep in the background. Definitely not what I was expecting. Sour ending with a lengthy, but unpleasant, aftertaste.

Pours cloudy opaque amber-gold orange with a creamy frothy white foam head. Smells like fresh funky peaches, toasty caramelized malt, with floral earthy herbal grassy pine. Tastes like tart funky peaches, toasty caramelized malt, with floral earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels medium-light bodied, creamy with moderate high carbonation. Overall a nice sour ale with peaches.
