Beautiful deep amber - brown color, nearly clear. Smaller head but it lasts leaving multiple spots on the glass.
More hoppy aroma than the traditional English IPAs, but I do get some sweeter caramel and berry.
The flavor profile leans to the bittering hop as well. Again, I get a solid, semisweet malt base with deeply toasted notes. The hop comes on strong in the swallow. Rich bodied with a muted carbonation level. Medium long bitter aftertaste.
Overall, not very traditional but still very good.
