pours beautiful red - good head / a lot of malt taste - not a great beer but very enjoyable - could easily drink a few at a setting

Served from tap in a shaker pint glass at the tap room.
Been too long since our last trivia night, so the fact that there are four new offerings here to meet us makes tonight all the better. This stuff pours a slightly hazy sienna-amber topped by a finger of off-khaki foam. The nose comprises leek, grapefruit peel, caramel, grass, and something that seems akin to rye spice. The taste brings in more of the same, with more grass and a smattering of resin at times. The body is a lithe medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, a solid hoppy imperial red, one that keeps the hops quotient up without drowning out the maltiness like others do.

Solid Red, if that's your thing. Reminded me a lot of Nugget Nectar. A tad less malt and you got a winner. I really enjoyed this and it's not even my style brew.
