Canned 2/22/21
Pours a thick, oily almost black with a small light brown head that fades quickly, spotty lacing.
Chocolate, coffee, bourbon, vanilla and some coconut, flavors match the aroma.
Thick'n chewy, minimal carbonation.
A very pleasant surprise, from another local brewer!

Had on tap. Pour just as you would want a chocolate malt ball beer to, dark brownish black with a layer of khaki bubbles on top with active carbonation for a ba stout. The smell is chocolate and malt, no nuance here. The taste starts with a chocolate tang with some wood, and then turn malty, cakey, and sweeter with some lingering booze. Feel is a little thrown off by the barrel if you ask me, almost wonder what it would taste like regular, but still good body all around

On tap at the brewery. Nice thick black color with creamy tan head. Smell is dark chocolate with bourbon. Taste is very balanced, first sip is bourbon chocolate and then fades with a nice hint of malty chocolate. For their first BBA RIS, very well done.
