This year's RepilcAle serves as my final beer from Solidarity, one I missed when it was first on at the tap room. It pours a mostly clear golden-straw topped by a finger of light cream-white foam. The nose comprises banana peel, light clove, cracked wheat, light lemon peel, light coriander, and a kiss of biscuit. The taste brings in more of the same, with the biscuit coming through a hint more powerfully (and leaning toward a sort of sourdough-ness). The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda dry finish. Overall, a nice little singel, a much-needed sessionable Belgian-style beer in this world.

Poured from a growler into a tulip glass, it was a lightly hazed gold with a tight cap of creamy white foam. Supposedly brewed with pilsner malt, so its very clean and straightforward in color/appearance. Visible trails of carbonation, lasting head of dense foam and a halo of lace left behind.

Lightly sweet and crackery at first, becoming dry and grassy afterwards. Yeast is very clean with very little esters in the mix. Some noble hop character lends a little bit of complexity, otherwise its simple and utilitarian (for consumption with food).
Overall a solid take on an obscure style, not attempting to get overly extreme. Simplicity is underrated, and it's nice to know these guys are trying out a style like this one.
