Reviewed from notes, drank on 9/3/12.
"Clear golden color, half inch white head. Smells very pleasantly hopped - citrus and lightly floral. Low carbonation. hops very apparent but pleasantly light, not bitter or harsh at all, almost sweet. The malts and or barley very very slight. Smooth on the palate, very much so. This is an AWESOME balance but not too much, just enough to be on the upper end of hoppiness for a pale ale, very close to being an ipa in my book. so smooth on the palate, almost oily. wow this is good!!

on-tap at carbones summer 2012
light in color with a bone white head, smell is zesty and piney unlike dyno, which was much more lemony. the taste follows with juicy fruity hops, and sweet bread-like malt. the bitterness is amped up here, and teeters on medicinal. medium feel with some cloying bitterness
I like dyno much better, but this wasn't a bad pale at all.

Another nice, hoppy pale ale from Lucid. Clear golden colour, big head and lots o lace. Pears and caramel define the aroma. Hops and malts combine for a fruity, sweet smell. Very pleasing. Initial sip is hop foward, pear like. Light caramel flavours follow, with a drying hop bitter. Body and carbonation are nice. Medium full in the mouth with a touch of dextrinous slickness. Really the only place I would ding this one is in the bitterness catagory. A bit medicinal and lingers too long for my taste. Overall however, I enjoyed this beer.

Brewed especially for the City of Mound Centennial and the Spirit of the Lakes Festival. Bought the bomber at Harbor Liquor in Mound for $5.49.
Poured a clear golden color with one finger of head that had good retention before settling to a thin cap. Moderate amount of lacing is left down the glass.
Interesting aroma and quite different from Dyno. This is floral and spicy. Also more of a malt aroma with a solid bready note.
Different hop bill than what is typically found in APAs. This has flavor notes of flowers, earthiness, and spice. Much better malt flavor than Dyno as well. This is easily tasted and adds nice bready, musty notes. Some fruity esters sneak in as well. Relatively dry.
Solid body and carbonation. Like the texture and it feels more consistant compared to other Lucid bottles.
Seems Lucid is improving with each new beer they release. Almost erases Camo from my memory. Hopefully the brewers will forget about that beer as well. Stupid bottle format and price but worth trying.
