A refreshingly spicy farmhouse style saison right in time for the summer.
The origins of saison were grounded in the use of this brew by many farmers in Belgium and France as a form of payment (and sustenance) to their farmhands during the hot summer months. While we here at The Bronx Brewery prefer modern forms of currency, our Brewmaster thought this would be a nice little bonus for the summer. A complex, yet refreshingly easy to drink beer. We added 60 pounds of orange blossom honey into the kettle to give this farmhouse ale a delightful citric & sweet aroma. The malts deliver an earthy and malty biscuit sweetness and the Austrian and Czech hops balance it all with spicy, herbal flavor and aromatic.
