On tap at Kretschmann Brewing Company.
Pours a clouded orange gold. Left a small white head that dissipated into wisps on the surface.
Smells spicey, coriander, cinnamon, slightly fruity.
Heavy notes of coriander, lighter notes of nutmeg, a good malt backbone, less bready and more fruity, very reminiscent of a tripel. A very minor bitterness takes the finish. I am unable to pick out specific Rye qualities in the beer.
Light bodied, watery, leaves clean. Alcohol is well hidden.
A very good spiced beer, I would order this again if the desire took me.
