a citra and vics secret focused east coast ipa, and a darn good one. sure i had previously had a fair few before i got into this one, but its mighty tasty, and i cannot make sense of the lack of love for it here on BA, i think its well ahead of a lot of beers getting hyped up like crazy, but then again i am learning how much i love vics secret hops, and there might be some bias built in subconsciously or something. its not nearly as milky and sediment packed as a lot of these are, a light yellow glow to it keeps it looking lively and attractive. it smells amazing, that botanical almost savory vics secret thing, with the lemony citra in behind it, both bold and really fresh, but excitingly as forward in the flavor as they are in the taste, something so many of these fail to deliver. there isnt much bitterness, but there is a lot of cool fruitiness from meyer lemon to orange tic tac, to cantaloupe and lemomgrass, juicy and sexy and really drinkable without a ton of body despite some grains beyond pale barley. this is just really good, super on trend obviously, but wheres the love?! one of the better hoppy beers i had all week in texas!

On-draught at Middleton.
Hopped with Vic Secret per Calvin at Middleton.
Balanced and drinkable. Very tasty stuff for a single hop IPA, turbid or not.
