Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this 12 ounce bottle from the brewery.
The beer pours a dark amber-red color with a tan head. The aroma is heavy on the oak, as well as some dark fruit, toffee and roasted malt notes.
The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of of the oak character, as well as some nice dark fruit notes - mainly cherry and plums. I also get quite a bit of roasted malt and a little bit of chocolate. A nice, oak-aged American Porter.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
