Big Wood Amigo Grande
Light golden-coppery and clear with a thin small head good lace. Smell is grainy and cooked corn. Tastes of light grains, biscuit, faint pepper, trace of something citric-like. Mild sweetness. Finish is clean enough. Easy drinking not bad but not something I’d seek out.

16oz can with a date
Great looking, gold/piss color, good head. Smells like sweet corn and grain alcohol. Very sweet and corny with a pepper finish. Cloying feel, I can't drink too much at once

Poured from a 16oz can into a snifter. Head was thin and fleeting, the smell is almost non existent perhaps lemon peel.
It's not bad per se, just not very good either. Bland and uneventful. Could use a bit more malt and hops but I guess the style is Mexican lager which tends to be pretty boring anyway. There is a slight lemon/lime bite that I did find complemented the style nicely.
