Pours pitch black. White, 1 finger head. Retention is average.
The nose is rich with coffee. It has a slight roast aroma.
Taste coffee, of course. Decent flavor. Slight bitterness on the backside.
Body is decent. Maybe a touch watery.
Not a bad coffee beer. Good to try.

I've had two cans out of my 4 pack and they were completely different beers. First one was dark and roasty with a strong vanilla flavor. It was a little heavy on the vanilla but not an unpleasant beer. Second can I have is off a lot. Vanilla flavor is gone and now it has a very sour unpleasant flavor to it. I had my wife verify that I wasn't imagining things and she confirmed my taste.

Really excited for this, never seen or heard of it, really been craving some good coffee beers lately.
The aroma on this is great, very strong coffee/espresso and vanilla aromas, slight chocolate and faint roastyness.
Taste; initial flavors awesome and then a very off flavor and mouth feel hit...idk if its from the acidity of the coffee used or what but taste almost sour and or infected...?? Has a dry sour aftertaste. Had my wife try without telling her and she thought it was very offensive and not good, she said, “ i took a big gulp too cuz it smelled so great”! Noticed one other very low rating on here, maybe some infected cans out there??! Otherwise this would have been great!!

This beer pours black with and average sized brown head. The aroma leads with vanilla, then roasty coffee, and some cream and dark chocolate. The flavor features lots of full coffee flavors, and some sweetness and vanilla, cream, and dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is medium bodied as very soft and silky. Overall this is a very balanced beer, with lots of coffe and just the right amount of vanilla.

Having had a Vanilla Espresso Porter on a vacation, I was naturally excited when one of my local breweries was going to release one. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed, it scratched the same itch, though didn't quite come up to the standards of the one I had.
My biggest criticism is that the espresso overpowered the vanilla a bit too much. That being said, it was still delicious. And if it were nitro-infused with just a bit more vanilla? It would be amazing.
