Pours a dark brown with a nice inch thick head. The smell is a bit sweet...but honestly not much from the nose. The taste though is awesome! You get a ton of this sweet ginger flavor.. like you get in gingerbread cookies. Some caramel too. Very lasting on the back of your palate. Drinkability is extremely high and I would guess 5% not 8.5%. Really impressive. Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
Overall extremely impressed by this one. Good job Due South!
