Poured an opaque dark orange with a white head that dissipated rather quickly, left a film and had pretty good lacing. Lots of muck floating around after pour. The orange jumps out in the aroma. There is definitely some sweet malt in behind which blends with the orange for an enjoyable aroma. The orange is still there in the taste but a lot more grapefruit. Still sweet but there is a strong late bitter that overwhelmes the sweet and lingers. Out of balance, just to much bitter. If you love the bitter you may love this one, the flavor is there but I was overdone by the bitter.

This beer pours a cloudy almost turbid orangey brown with a 2 finger off white head that eventually settles to a moderately thick ring around the edge of the class. Lost of spotted lacing and also many very tiny floating particles. Smell is subtle and certainly doesn't burst out of the glass. Orange is most predominant with a bit of grapefruit, some floral hops, bready malt and a touch of sweetness. Taste is the same, but the orange is stronger making the taste seem more one dimensional than the smell. The finish is pretty dry with a slight tingly bitterness. Feel is medium and slick without a lot of carbonation. Overall a solid beer, but not something I would seek out.
