Bought a can of Due South Lager whilst in Ft. Lauderdale to take on a cruise. The beer poured golden in color with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent and taste carried typical lager characteristics....light bread/grain with hop top. The mouthfeel was light in body with good carbonation. Overall I didn't like it and I would avoid it in the future.

a very drinkable lager, german in grain character to me, but a much better beer i think than the other one i had from them, the caramel cream, which was cool to try, but not something i want to drink a ton of, especially in warm weather, this on the other hand, is the perfect warm weather quencher. i think its a different beer than the summertime version, at least my bartender told me so. clear bright sunny golden in color, full inch of lasting white head, and an aroma of light hops, fresh pale barley malt, and a patient lagering. the finish agrees, as this is crispy as they get, perfect in the florida heat. i dig it too because its got a little body, nothing watery about it, although it may limit drinkability ever so slightly. what more can one say about it? its exactly what you want and expect a craft lager to be. no complaints at all with this one.
