Enjoyed at a bottle share. Big coffee aroma, sweet roasty malt backbone. Java Marian Trench is a delicious treatment of the original Mariana Trench from the brewery.

Received in a trade. Shared with JLindros.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice darker brown with a fat two finger mocha head that fades to leave creamy lacing.
S - Aromas of huge coffee bean notes along with nice chocolate. Very nice mocha notes popping on this beer with no real alcohol on the nose.
T - Taste is similar to the nose. Very nice coffee notes and darker roast chocolate. Light bitterness on the finish. There is a little bit of warming booze on the finish.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, somewhat boozy.
O - Overall this was a rather solid. Very nice coffee here with a nice chocolate backbone.

Big foamy fluffy dark colored 1.5 finger head fades semi slowly, nice messy lacing, dark pitch black color.
Nose is huge, tons of dark chocolate cocoa, nutty earthy fresh roasted coffee, generic nutty, little biscuity cookie dough, mocha java and caramel.
Taste starts with super dark malts, bitter roasty black malt, charred roast, with bitter earthy spicy hops, chewy briny hops, big cocoa and char, roasty coffee, big coffee earthy nutty coffee, with some dark choc and bakers choc, bitter dark roasted coffee, fudgey, little biscuity cookie and caramel again, some hot booze. Finish super bitter spicy chewy hops, big cocoa dark choc and mocha java roasted coffee and fudge lingering, little tingly booze.
Mouth is fuller bod, nice fudgey, good carb but tingly hot booze.
Overall very good aside from the his getting a bit too spicy bitter and boozy, but otherwise awesome.
