Not sure if this is a different beer or the info was wrong, but the version I tried was labelled as a 9.2% Baltic Porter.
Pours a very dark, almost opaque beer, brown towards burgundy red, more like a quad than a porter, with a nice head. The smell confirms that this is, again, more a quad than a porter. Notes of caramel, dark fruit, strawberry jam, molasses. The taste is very rich and fruity, with strawberry jam and caramel, along with roasted malts, spices and a bit of dark chocolate in the background. A very pleasant drink.
