Winner of multiple awards, including a Silver Medal in American-Style Pale Ales at the 2002 Great American Beer Festival. This hoppy ale is dry-hopped with the snappy flavor and bite of Cascade hops…for hopheads only!

On tap at BJ’s in Toms River. Old school pint glass.
Nice West Coast look. Amber copper gold color, filtered and see through. Tall dirty white cap that holds up through the drink. Sticky foam lacing.
Fresh dough aroma with touches of citrus and nuts.
Strong malt flavor topped with floral and grapefruit hop flavors.
Solid medium body. Dry with a hoppy finish bite.
Pretty well balanced. Nice WC and English pale ale mix.

A little bitter for my taste. I suppose it's in the name.

On tap at BJ's in Murfreesboro, served in a pint glass.
This is probably my favorite of BJ's beers, just a nice classic Pale Ale
Pours a semi-clear orange/amber color with about one fingers worth of off white head that lingers for quite a while, leaving behind a fair amount of lacing as well.
Citrusy hops dominate the nose, with a nice clean maltiness. Very well balanced
The flavor, much like the nose is a nice balance of citrusy hops and bready malts, very clean. Medium bodied, and appropriately carbonated. Very drinkable
Overall, this is a very nice, clean pale ale.

12 oz. can served in a pint glass. Packaged 8/5/22. Pours a clear light amber in color with a half inch of off white foam. Light malt notes on the nose with no real hop presence, some fruity notes with warming. Taste is malty with muddled caramel and biscuity notes. Finish is fairly sweet with caramel notes dominant. Faint bitterness and slightly cloying on the finish with some hop spice rounding things out. Chalky. Overall nothing special yet seems to check all the boxes. Average on a good day and lacking bright and crisp notes I would expect in the style.

Pours golden clear yellow with faint white cap. Light on the nose and palate with crisp clean hoppy backbone. Good pale ale at 5.7% ABV.
