Kiwi-like dragon fruit flavors blend with yuzu notes of grapefruit, lemon and mandarin orange. Light-bodied with a super refreshing drinkability. Overall, this easy-drinking beer is refreshingly tart—but not too tart—with a unique blend of tropical fruit flavors to savor with every sip.

Served on tap in a weizen glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden-straw color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades very fast leaving a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is big of tropical fruits of tangerine, mango and papaya, and is mixed with a very strong berry and yuzu? smell. Along with these aromas comes notes of lemon and grapefruit as well as some light malt and caramel.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp cracker malt that has light tropical fruit notes and flavors of berry and a flavor that I think might be yuzu (never tasted it so don’t know for sure). At the same time there is a strong presence of grapefruit and notes of lemon, with the later getting stronger as the taste advances. Some light hay and grain comes in more toward the end, and with an increase in the grapefruit and lemon, one is left with a slightly sour fruited yuzu? taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a high carbonation level. For the low abv, the fruit, and the sour the feel was appropriate and made it easier to drink.
Overall – Not really my thing. Too much lemon sourness and sorta an odd flavor. Worth a try, but I will not go back to this one.
