Paying homage to our perpendicular kin, Meridian Myst is where the x-axis of dewy deliciousness and y-axis of hazy adventure intersect to form an unparalleled combination of pure craft bliss. This crushable pale ale is light and dripping with tropical notes of pineapple and fruity citrus. “X” truly marks the spot with this one.

The beer pours out a full on hazy dark golden orange color, with 1 finger of white head------------------ the aromas are of juicy orange, pineapple and pine-------------- the flavors are of citrus and tropical fruit with some grapefruit pith and pine, the beer has a medium mouthfeel with a medium bitterness on the finish-------------------- overall this beer was very good - this was a tasty pale ale juicy up front with a bitter pine and grapefruit finish

16oz can - I like the turn of the phrase that is 'our perpendicular kin'. I guess I am a bit of a geography geek.
This beer pours a hazy, medium apricot yellow colour, with two fingers of puffy, rocky, and mildly bubbly dirty white head, which leaves some boiling cauldron profile lace around the glass as it slowly sinks out of sight.
It smells of dank pine resin, some orange, red grapefruit, and lemon citrus rind, a further muddled tropical fruitiness, grainy and crackery cereal malt, and more leafy, weedy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, indistinct stone fruit, a flinty stoniness, mixed domestic citrus peel, and more understated earthy, musty, and floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is average in its palate-satisfying frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and mostly smooth, but for a wee pithiness arising as things warm up a tad out of the ol' basement fridge. It finishes trending dry, the malt faltering in face of the lingering hop bitterness.
Overall - this comes across as a capable enough rendering of the style, but not one that jumps out at you with the hoppy assault on the senses. It's simple, easy to put back, and in the end, pretty much forgettable. Happy to have just got the single.

Picked this up with five others at Windmill Farms. I’m a sucker for Latitude 33 (ranked 10th for me coming in with an average rating of 4.055) and was hoping this would be on pace with their other stuff. Description on can read, “Paying homage to our perpendicular kin, Meridian Myst is where the x-axis of dewy deliciousness and y-axis of hazy adventure intersect to form an unparalleled combination of pure craft bliss. This crushable pale ale is light and dripping with tropical notes of pineapple and fruity citrus. “X” truly marks the spot with this one.” Didn’t know anything else about it heading in except the front of the can called it a Hazy Pale Ale.
Poured a pale hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of white rocky head. Could see a few streams of fast-moving bubbles creeping up the side of the glass. Excellent layered foamy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled dank from the get-go. Also marijuana, pineapple, peach, nectarine, spoiled fruit and apricot. Could not decipher any specific hops. From the can added orange rind, mango and guava. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste followed the nose for the most part, although not nearly as dank. Got peach, pineapple, nectarine, Amarillo (guessing), orange rind, stone fruit, light grapefruit and citrus pulp. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Dry, juicy finish. (Feel - 3.75)
This was good New England Style beer, but not sure I’d have it again. (Overall - 3.50)
