This is a very smooth, easy-drinking, fine lager.

Clear gold brew with a nice pile of foam in the Belgian wine-sytle glass. Pleasant grainy smell. Fizzy and a little sharp on the tongue. But then it tastes of sweet corn with hints of roasted grain. Faintly gummy-flavored, like a resiny touch of pine pitch. Slight bitter aftertaste. That's about it for flavor, though it does seem more cereal tasting than most light lagers. From the 12 oz can purchased at the supermarket.

Saw a 6-pack of this at Grocery Outlet and instapicked it up. I’m a big fan of Latitude 33 (4.025 rating for 15 reviews going in) and lagers. And the price was great, too ($7.99 for a 6-pack), which always is the case for Latitude 33. Back of the packaged called for, “From the beer-loving, adventure seeking team here at Latitude 33 Brewing, ColdCraft is a light lager that is complex in process but made for simplicity. Poured a gold-to-light amber clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of off-white fizzy head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass at different speeds. Very bad watery lacing. Poor retention. (Sight - 3.00)
Smelled pilsner malt, Noble, light Saaz, white bread, cracker and grass. Maybe a little better out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted about as good as the nose. Very easy drinking as expected. Got pilsner malt, Noble hops, light Saaz, grass, cracker, white bread, light apple and hints of corn. (Taste - 4.25)
Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just an excellent beer for the style. Can’t wait to pick up some more for this price. Will be great for golf. (Overall - 4.25)
