Native Trails, a rotating experiment, is taking an adventurous turn towards the roasty roads of toasted coconut and coffee by collaborating with Steady State Coffee. This delicious, limited brew has traces of sweetness while keeping the rich mouthfeel of an American porter. We brought in Steady State's premium specialty coffees Space Traveler and Sipi Falls by blending them together for a perfect pairing. This coffee blend has bright complexity with nice floral accents, followed by a rounded body with chocolate notes that makes for the perfect brew.

Had never heard of Latitude 33 deciding to release different styles of Native Trails (which I had never tried) prior to having the Black & Blue one on March 3, 2018, the Chocolate Peanut Butter one on March 28, 2018 and the Vanilla one on Jan. 18, 2019. Love this vastly underrated brewery and was happy to see a few new beers from them on a recent visit to Windmill Farms. Can described this as, “Native Trails, a rotating experiment, is taking an adventurous turn towards the roasty roads of toasted coconut and coffee by collaborating with Steady State Coffee. Poured a pitch black color with 2-to-3 fingers of khaki frothy head. Could only see a few amount of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Average watery lacing. Decent retention. (Sight - 3.50)
Smelled black coffee, bitter dark chocolate, ash tray, cacao, toasted coconut and hints of anise. Surprisingly better from the glass than the can. (Smell - 4.50)
Taste was even better than the nose. Got tons of toasted coconut, followed by black coffee, dark chocolate, ashtray, char wood, cacao and vanilla. (Taste - 4.50)
Full body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Oh my God this was so good. World-class. (Overall - 4.50)
