Big thanks to UncleJazz for the bottle

Pours a crystal clear golden hay color with 2+ fingers of sudzy white head that falls to an omnipresent collar with curtains of lace. The nose is light but full of citrus hops and light malt. The taste is dominated by dry citrus and spicy hops with lots of classic American bittering hops with long lasting dry bitterness. Medium body with good carbonation. A nice IPA, especially if dry, bitter IPAs are your thing.

L: Poured from a bomber bottle into a pint glass. Beautiful orange/yellow with an clean, unfiltered haze. Gorgeous, thick, foamy ecru head that left a lot of lacing. Pretty to look at indeed!

S: Aromas of hay and lemongrass without much punch. Aromas of wet basement and fresh grains. Light on the hops/malt characteristics.

T: Flavors of grass, some tropical fruit hints, and slight malt notes are throughout this beer. Flavors are subtle and drinkable, with no one dominating. There's an earthiness to this beet that reminds me of old-style English IPAs, but a lighter freshness that is reminiscent of newer American ones. One thing to be sure, if you're looking for big hops, this ain't it.

F: Chewy, a bit gritty, and possessing just a touch of bitterness this is an easy-drinking IPA. Light and well-balanced, but with a bit more body than a session.

O: A tasty, well-crafted offering from a small brewery. Not a world-beater, but a solid choice in an over-crowded IPA landscape.

32oz swingtop growler purchased at the brewery. Poured into a pint glass.

Appearance - Amber body with a light haze. Good head retention and nice sticky lacing. Looks the part!

Smell- A good balance of piney hops, caramel, and sugary malt. As the beer warms the hops show citrusy and floral notes. The aroma is mellow, pleasant, and not overly aromatic.

Taste - This beer strikes a great balance between hops and malt. This beer has a very straightforward flavor profile. In this case, the simplicity is delicious. Citrusy hops hit up front with a nice transition into a sweet malty and slightly bready middle with toasty edges. The finish is sweet with a light refreshing hop bitterness. Overall, this beer sports a balanced, approachable, and refreshing character.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with full creamy carbonation. The body on this beer is fantastic. Soft, creamy, and slick.

Overall - This is a great everyday IPA. It's not a hob bomb, but rather carries a balanced profile. It is absolutely hoppy, but has the malt and refreshing qualities to match.
