Hand Rolled is meticulously crafted to be unfiltered, hoppy and juicy. With an emphasis placed on hop flavor and aroma rather than bitterness, huge notes of peach, apricot and grapefruit dominate the aroma. The malt base is comprised of wheat, oats and barley providing a delicate, soft mouthfeel inviting another drink.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a one finger head that fades to a film but leaves a web of lacing behind

Smell: Rather faint aromatics but they bring floral tones with peach, melon and sugar cookie

Taste: Peach, melon and sugar cookie tones with low bitterness in the finish

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate to high carbonation

Overall: If you are going to make a hazy, make a hazy; this beer has an intent but doesn't quite get there

Thanks, muchloveforhops3, for the opportunity

12 oz can from SHINE. medium to dark golden, small foamy head. Hoppy aroma, caramel. Taste also features the hops up front, backed up by some sweet caramel malts, brought together into a nice medium weight body that slides over the tongue.

good name, good beer, not wildly unconventional or interesting or experimental on the hops or anything, nope, these guys do plenty of that in their others beers, so its okay that this is a little more familiar, its nice beer, easier drinking than many at this strength and boldness of flavor, and the fermentation is pleasantly clean, no linger from extra grain weight, no green hop burn, nothing weird about it at all, these guys pretty much always hit on quality. nose and taste of ripe yellow peach, dried apricot, a little weedy dankness, maybe some orange candy too, the hops hit all at once in the nose, but are a bit more spread out in the flavor, a little cantaloupe thing too, its a nice trajectory and it warms up well where a lot of these fall apart with temperature. i like that some grain can still be tasted, this isnt just a juice bomb, good balance without making it heavy or sweet, and it has great carbonation too. hard to call out the hops, maybe el dorado in the mix though, modern but also timeless, a way better than average hazy that still isnt radical in any way. nicely done again for these guys!
