Half pint; hand-pulled on 5th Sep 2012 in The Crown Inn, Oakengates.
Good looking amber brew; with a full white head that stayed the distance.
Hops rule the aroma and taste stakes: not your regular golden, citrusy hop brew, this had a depth of flavour and taste because it was a fine blend of hops with a malt content that also showed it’s self nicely. The 4.7% ABV sat well and I would have had another but I was with company and we were on a mission to try a number of pubs and beers on the night in question.
