The last blueberry beer I had was Lake of the Woods Blueberry and it was a purple-ish color (they claim to use real blueberries), so pouring a standard lager color in this Broadhead beer took me by surprise.
Smells like Mini Wheats Blueberry cereal. Tastes...like Blueberry, kind of. A little light and a little like blueberry tea.
Now Blueberries are one of my favorite fruits, but I don't know how you would mix them in a beer and not get some color out of it.
I'll say as long as Lake of the Woods Blueberry Ale is available then I would never get this again. Go try Lake of the Woods Blueberry Ale and thank me later. That's a fantastic beer.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL, from my favourite The Beer Store on Goyeau St. in nearby downtown Windsor. My second beer from the Orleans, Ontario brewery, and first for 2025.

poured into glass smell of fresh fruits taste is a little blueberry. I thought this beer would be sweeter but it's not that sweet which is good .. I'm surprised I like it last time I had this style of beer I wasn't a fan but this blueberry blonde is smooth .
I'm enjoying it
overall its refreshing and enjoyable to drink .

It tasted like my daughter soaked her Strawberry Shortcake doll's best friend, Blueberry Muffin, in a mediocre blonde ale.
Seriously.
It had a phony plastic blueberry essence to it. Yuck.
I didn't like it at all.
But I drank it all because it was beer.

Look: Medium yellow with heavy carbonation. Pours with a 1 1/2 finger white head with dense bubbles. After 5 minutes still a 1/2 finger head.
Smell: Blueberrys and lemon
Taste: Very open and non descript on the front. Tart with the blueberrys in the middle, and lacking a back end.
Feel: Stimultates the top of the palate and sides of the tongue.
This beer earns a B.

Pretty good for a fruit beer but I've had better. Just something to try but wouldn't buy again

Blond and golden with a cloudiness, some visible carbonation, and a fizz of a head.
Smells very blueberry forward, with hints of malt, reminding me of a blueberry muffin.
Tastes of a floral fruitiness, very little sweetness, some sourness, and malt. Not tasting like blueberry in particular.
Medium body, moderate, foamy carbonation.
Got this in Orillia, drinking it in Muskoka, this snowy, blizzard of a day of Dec 8th, 2017. Smells awesome, cool idea, kind of misses it on the taste in my opinion.

Not a fan of flavoured beers, but this one hits the mark in many ways. Highly drinkable, especially for summertime. Great flavour from the blueberries that is in no way overbearing. Canned from the LCBO.
