Can from Total Wine - Henderson. Gusher if a can, then a fairly calm pour. Dark amber, Hazy, small ring of head, spotty lacing. Caramel toffee malts in the aroma some floral notes., Hand soap. Taste is more of the sweet malts, toffee, pipe tobacco, Jujubes. Sticky bitter finish.

Tasted from a 12 oz can bought in Las Vegas.
L - Light copper/orange color and slightly hazy. Decent off-white head lingers and creates lots of lacing.
S - Aroma has some bready malt but very little hops. Hops that present themselves are a faint, earthy note. Overall impression is a not-very-appetizing "mealy" character.
T - Flavors are not great. I get earthy, green vegetal hops. The malt is there with bready, nutty and slightly sweet flavors that don't mesh well with the hops. The overall flavor profile is not good for an IPA or DIPA,
F - Medium to heavy body. Low to moderate carbonation. Medium hops bitterness. Moderate alcohol burn.
O - A "mealy", muddled DIPA that does not represent the style well. My sample seemed to have been oxidized or maybe the can was stored hot. If I get another chance I will try another sample and compare notes.

Tried this beer in a blind taste test and my friend and I both liked it head and shoulders above the other beers. Pours a biscuit brown color, quite dark for an IPA. Smell is superb with what seems like mosaic and citra interplaying. Great earthy, citrus, dannnnnkkkk, resiny character. This is a suprisingly excellent dipa if you like a maltier IPA than a west coast style with an excellent smell from dry hopping and in taste.
