A: Murky light brown color, 1 inch dense off white head, great lacing
S: Syrupy, maltyness, skunky belgian yeast smell of clove and spices
T: Spicy clove, sweet malts, no hop character, a little booziness
M: Medium to full, a little heat from the alcohol
O: Ive had this beer for several months now waiting for the perfect occasion to bust it open. Had a fellow beer loving friend over this weekend and we had a sample. Really good beer, really makes me want to try some of the other well know tripels.

On tap at the brewery.
Smells like a pale ale brewed with Belgian yeast. Mild.
The taste partly follows, with a high hop load for style. Moderately bitter.
Overall: a fine Belgian IPA that leans towards a tripel.

Happy 18th birthday Sweet Water. I remember back in the late 1990s loading up on your stuff Many times while in Atlanta to bring south to Florida. Now look at you, going national. 1997-2015 18th anniversary Belgian-style Tripel. Pours a 2 finger dence creamy off white head. Color is cloudy golden honey color, 4.25. Smells herbal, floral and malty, 4.00. Taste is very flowery, somewhat spicy and candy like. Nice unusual complex flavors I can't put in writing. Aftertaste is mellow with spice burn, 4.50. Feel is Somewhat dry and light. Very refreshing and drinkable. Hard to believe it's 10%, 4.50. Overall a nice complex tasting Tripel that tastes just as I would have expected from these Georgia brewing pioneers, 4.25
