16 ounce pour - $8.00 at World of Beer in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a murky, very dark brown body with half an inch of slowly receding, very light khaki-colored head.
Smell: Heavily earthy, smelling of top soil. Really not getting much pumpkin or barrel character. Autumnal spices, particularly cinnamon and mace.
Taste: Quite earthen, a little mushroom meal. Vague toasty, slim pumpkin hint. Minimally sweet. Jutting spice character. And, as it goes, really growing in the cinnamon department. Having trouble discerning any particular barrel character. If this was based off of the Georgia Brown, which is pretty thin one its own, they flattened it.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-low carbonation.
Overall: Pass on this one.
