Golden to slight orange in color with a good sized head and some lacing. Smells of pine, grass and citrus. Taste follows the smell with a balanced beer that has a full bodied feel for a session ipa.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is straw gold, head is off white presenting 2+ inches thick and then dissipating to a solid frothy top with some lacing on the glass sides.

Smell is grassy, fresh hops, hints of citrus and spice, light sweet malt finishes.

Taste follows the aroma but seems less fresh - hops are grassy, light citrus and earthy spice, malt follows with moderate sweetness and some toast.

Mouthfeel is moderate with light bitterness and lingering sweetness.

Overall a moderately hoppy session ipa with with pleasant malt base.

Pours a pale golden yellow from the can with a trace of head. Mostly clear. Citrus and pine on the nose with a touch of cattiness. Relatively juicy citrus taste with no unpleasant bite. Thin on the mouth feel.

12 oz can into beer can glass. Dated best by 4/15/19.
Look is fairly cloudy yellow. Smell is dank pine. Taste follows nose with pine and grapefruit. Feel is fairly light. Overall fairly good West Coast IPA. Not bad for a session.

I have not drank Sweetwater regularly since I lived in Carolina a while back but saw a fifteen pack of this in Brunswick today and felt nostalgia. This starts impressive with a beautiful head and cloudy golden color. The nose is citrus and caramel malt.

This is balanced and smooth in texture. I like the late hop laden finish. Definitely easy to drink, this is obviously a little thin and lacking a full, robust IPA flavor. Still, I am impressed and would definitely pick this up again.

Hazy straw with an insanely thick, bubbly head. Decent lacing. Earthy, citrusy and tropical fruit hop scent, not terribly strong. Grainy malt with balanced hop flavor and significant bitterness. The flavors don't linger long, so it's easy to take each sip. Lightly sweet. Moderately carbonation. Kind of watery, but just so that it's really drinkable.

Poured from a 12oz can with a best by date of 9/23/18; into a pint glass.
Appearance- cloudy gold with some bubble streams supporting a medium thick, soapy white head; lacing is minimal.
Smell - a blend of citrus, tropical, pine and cracker malt.
Taste - flavor profile mimics the nose, but is far more appealing!
Feel - light, super easy drinking, mildly bitter, but all IPA!
Overall- quite possibly the best session IPA I’ve had, as it checks the taste box and given it’s a mere 4.2%, this is an absolute beach crusher!

Has a floral and hoppy smell. Pours a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Decent lacing. Watery thin mouthfeel with very mild creaminess and fizzy carbonation. Tastes like what you would expect for an IPA. Decently hopped and a little malt and fruit coming through. Pretty good, Nothing super outstanding, but nothing terrible either. This is a session IPA so it is really not bad for what it is.

Pours a slightly hazy, slightly transparent classic golden honey-straw color with a tall, foamy head of about 4 inches to start, and gradually recedes to a couple fingers leaving sparse thick lacing clinging in globs on the sides of the glass.

Sweet aroma of apple juice, with hints of biscuit malt and slight grass.

This beer is green! Tons of dusty, dry, hashy hop pellet on the tongue, as if you snorted hop dust and it's at the back of your throat. Then it fades to biscuit and very faint caramel malt, with a nice fade of orange peel and evergreen.

Feel is crisp, bordering on medium bodied, slightly creamy, surprisingly not resiny at all. Hoppy finish but not resiny.

Overall, this one surprised me. I don't think Sweetwater gets credit where it's deserved. Would have again. It's a solid beer and an interesting execution.

Hop Hash Easy IPA has a thick, off-white head, a sediment-filled, golden appearance, with lots of bubbles and some glass lacing. The aroma is of some white bread and mixed fruit. Taste is of sweet, white bread, fruit salad, and fairly strong bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Hop Hash Easy IPA finishes dry.

Poured into a glass from a 12oz bottle.

A - Pours a hazy straw, forming a rocky one inch white head, and forming medium lace on the glass. Steady stream of tiny carbonation.

S - Strong aroma of fresh squeezed lemonade.

T - Slightly fruity hop flavor up front with a mild malt backbone in the finish. Not nearly as robust as the aroma would lead.

F - Medium bodied, good carbonation, and clean.

O - Very simple session IPA with not a lot going on. Not bad, but not memorable.

A: crystal clear; deep gold in color; 1 finger white head that receded to a thin cap; very nice lacing;

S: pine, lemon, tropical fruit; earthy, a hint of leather;

T: a big letdown after the interesting aroma; orange and lemon pith from start to finish, although the flavor fades toward the end; moderate bitterness on the finish without much flavor - not especially appealing;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish; crisp;

O: the flavor just didn't work for me;

Pours a cloudy maize color. One inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong floral hops, citrus hops, alcohol, sweet malt, and a hint of spicy hops. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong floral hops, citrus hops, alcohol, sweet malt, and a hint of spicy hops. Overall, good appearance, body, and blend. Floral hops dominate, but still blend well.

Poured from a 12oz can into a clear glass tulip. 12/31/17 on bottom of can.

A: Clear light lemon gold with 1-2 finger head and lots of lacing.

S: Grapefruit and lemon hoppiness with some floral character too.

T: Flavor is pretty one-dimensional but enjoyable with citrus, pine, and floral hoppiness on a slightly crackery pale malt base. No yeast esters and moderately bitter.

M: Light with higher than expected carbonation.

O: Decent but not my favorite session IPA -- too much a lot of the same hoppy thing. WOuld much rather have Daytime or All-Day.

I messed up and reviewed their hash session ale thinking it was this one. My bad. THIS is an easy 4 rating with a nice balance while hop resins give it a slightly bitter taste. At 4.2 ABV you could swig on these all day and enjoy a great IPA.
