Copenhagen 2/4 2018. 35,5 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Brønshøj Torv, Brønshøj. Sweetwaters usual design with a big gulping fish and some eager fishermen in the background. Big hop in the foreground to signal that I am about to drink a beer in the hoppy end of the spectrum.

Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a big white head. Settles as a 1,5 cm blanket of foam. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is fresh and fruity. Pear, peach and mango in the foreground. Bitter, sour, citric notes.

Medium strong carbonation and thin watery texture.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by somewhat stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingering.

Light weight and easy to drink. Does what a Session IPA is supposed to do.

Poured from the tap at Black Tap in Singapore in October 2023.

L: Bright orange gold with a creamy white head. Just a bit of carbonation is seen in the glass.

S: Very clean, with mild tropical citrus.

T: Fruity tropical citrus, so it pretty much covers all the modern IPA bases. But at only 4.2%, this is a flavour bomb. Bitterness is mild. The finish is super clean.

M: Very mild and smooth.

O: An extremely flavourful session ale that drinks very smoothly. This is a rare beast: a session ale that I'd actually want to spend a session drinking.

Cheers!

Mainly purchased due to cost ($15 for a 15 can box), and because it was a new one for me.

Canned 09.12.20, so one of the freshest packs I've come across. Big green and citrus on the open and pour, with a light amber color and 2-finger head. Very hops-forward pineapple and tart in the mouth with a moderate grain exhale and good carbonation burn on the throat. Overall- a bit watery IMO, but a negligible complaint for good beer at $1/can.

A great session IPA. Light feeling but nice hoppiness. Easy to drink more than one and partake outside in this crazy summer. I Found a fresh 15 pack that was canned in the last month. Crisp but not too bitter. Nice mouthfeel and slight citrus taste.

Poured from can into pint glass. Nice foamy head and sticky lacing. Clear golden color. Nose is on the weak side, faint hints of pine, floral, and yeast. Flavor is nice and balanced with some citrus, malty, and bitterness. Mouth feels of carbonation and finishes dry. For a session on a hot summer day, very good!

Pale yellow color. Fairly carbonated. Thick head. A little hoppy, not much to it though.

Golden to slight orange in color with a good sized head and some lacing. Smells of pine, grass and citrus. Taste follows the smell with a balanced beer that has a full bodied feel for a session ipa.
