Poured in a mug which displayed very cloudy golden yellow color with a good head. The aroma was pleasing with a slightly fruity hint. The taste...the taste was great. I enjoyed this ale with fish cakes and it brought back so many great memories of NE seafood and great beers! The hoppiness was just right. It didn't over power the taste of the fish. I can only hope that Sweet Water will put this into a frequent rotation of put or a year round offering. I will be a regular!

Citrus and fruit aroma, with hints of orange and pineapple. Pours a hazy orange, with a full white head. Bright fruit notes, with enough malt to hold up to the hops. The flavor fades to a mild bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel, and a solid NEIPA.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip
Drink before 5/13/18
A- pours a hazy golden color with a one-finger creamy white head that has good retention long after the pour and leaves a bit of lacing behind
S- smells of citrusy hops, light tropical notes, cherry chapstick, peppery rye, toasted malt
T- bitter piney hops, followed by notes of citrus rind and some tropical flavors. The finish is malty with a peppery rye kicker, more pine on the linger
M- medium body with medium carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into the finish
O- a solid IPA, but if you're expecting juicy NE style, you won't find it here.
