375ml bottle - Date Bottled: 12/01/2017 Enjoyed in a 10 oz. fluted Bangkok Beer glass
Semi-clear copper pour with little to no carbonation (probably because of age)
Citrus aroma with hints of apricot and funk
Tart taste which sits in the back of the mouth and moves forward as its temperature warms
Mouth is smooth but acidic
Overall a very flavorful American Wild which I would try again if I could find it with a more recent bottled date

Poured from a cork'n'cage bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Slightly cloudy light golden pour with thin fizzy white head. Modest ring of lacing.

S: Tart and funky. Lemon citrus and funk.

T.F: Just like it smells. Tart. Lemon citrus. Green peach and apricot. Funk and oak. Complex bacterial flora... green apple skins, moderate acidity. Medium to light bodied. Well carbonated.

O: A very flavorful wild ale. Love the funk and oak mixed with green fruits. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

One of the most well rounded and solid beers I have had in awhile. No weaknesses, just solidly good oak sour with nice fruit accents. Full yet light in body and pour. Now it won't blow you away in any area, but it will not let you down. Very enjoyable

375ml bottle - Bullock's Wine & Spirits in Marietta, Georgia.

Date Bottled: 12/01/2017

Appearance: Pours a gold-hued body, a bit hazed, with a very, very brief, evaporating head.

Smell: Fruity tones of apricot, salty-sour lemon, green apples and chokeberries wrapped with a leather ribbon and stabbed with a muted oak skewer.

Taste: Staunchly tart tasting with heavy lemon, canned apricots, apple sweats as well as some leathery tones. Vibrant acidity throughout. Softly woody, salty and housing a hint of tomme rind on the finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Near nil carbonation.

Overall: Decent enough.

S - Acidic and wild yeast. Definitely a sour/wild!

T - Big sour notes right out the gate. Very good!

F - Well carbonated and sizzles on your tongue

O - Well done Sweetwater! Way to step up your game. Excellent Wild
