On tap. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of floral, grassy hops with caramel and toffee. Sweet caramel taste with a sharp, piney bitterness.

16 ounce can - Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a pale yellow body, hazed with a smallish, receding, white head.
Smell: Pils with a bent of cracker dough about it before the hops, a bit herbal but predominately citrusy roll in.
Taste: Crisp pils maltiness in the fore with a touch of soft breadiness. Small amount of sweetness. Delicately spicy, freshly herbal with a citrusy lemon-orange candy flavor. Bitterness is light though sufficient enough to provide balance. Touch of acidity perking up to help derive a bit of juiciness. Floral, lightly spicy and lightly citrusy on the drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Frankly, it's one of the better SW I've had in quite some time.

Wotta whirlwind coupla/few days! I was outta tahn from Friday morning until early Sunday evening & then I did some running around on Monday that took me far afield. Today, I went to a job interview & on the way to check-in at my Mom's house, I saw a little dog get hit & die. 8=( I am ready for a beer & this one, dedicated to conservation & preservation, really seemed to be the right response. Plus, it does not hurt that it is also for The CANQuest (tm).

Having Crack!ed the vent on this latest 16-fl. oz. CAN, I followed up with a slow, gentle Glug since it was marked as "CAN Conditioned". Once sufficiently deCANted, an in-glass swirl raised a finger of fizzy, foamy, bone-white head with limited rtention, but it did manage to produce some lacing as it dissipated into wisps. Color was a gorgeous Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5) with NE-quality clarity, prompting an impromptu visit from The Gelt Gang of Midas, Mammon & Croesus, all vying for a taste. Nose was redolent with grapefruit, leaving no question as to the use of Citra hops. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was very citrusy with a biscuity maltiness, causing me to think of lemon biscotti. Mmm. I might not have neccesarily identified it as a Lager or even a Pilsner, but I would have called it more towards a Czech Pils than a GER Pils. No matter. This was just what the doctor ordered after a crappy day during the Summer of 2018's Monsoon Season. It was crisp, dry & highly refreshing. I have a bad feeling that this may not be a regular brew for them, which is too bad. The dry finish and moderate bitterness, although very much of grapefruit & lemon, would make it a great CANdidate for my Summer cooler as I head to the beach. More, please!

Interesting, plentiful tropical fruit notes for your nose. Flavor is true Pils crisp and ckean. The finish disappointis dry but extremely short. A pleasant way to contribute to a great cause.
