Wow. This maybe the best Brut IPA I've ever had, definitely on par with Terrapin's Hoppin' Bubbly (although Hoppin' Bubbly is not a DIPA). I'm usually not a big fan of the Dank Tank Series, but the pine and cannabis notes are restrained enough even in the finish to let the other flavors shine. I like the orange amber color of the beer, it gave a good indication of what's to come. The aroma has a fair amount of mango and passionfruit with hints of citrus. The palate also has a large amount of tropical fruit and hints of orange and it dries up to a good balance of citrus peels (mainly grapefruit, orange, and lemon), with hints of pine and cannabis in the finish as well as a bit of toasted biscuit. The hops are still a bit on the aggressive side, but it's Dank Tank, what do you expect. I'm just glad Sweetwater made a beer that was well balanced in this series. If I can find another 4 pack for under $13, I'll pick it up again. (It was discounted to a very low $8.50 at Beverage World in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.)

The beer pours amber orange in color, and the large foamy head and hazy body are a significant departure from the pale, champagne like looks of other Brut IPAs. The aroma is tropical, but I am unable to pin it down to a single fruit. The sweet smell is reflected in the mild, semi sweet taste, with the hops providing a spicy and fruity flavor up front,, which is followed by a bittersweet finish. A bit of a clash of flavors here if you ask me. The mouthfeel is light and aftertaste mild and dry. I don't dislike it, but don't love it either.

Dank, dry, and tasty as hell. Gorgeous bronze with 1 finger of head and sticky lace all over the glass. One of the best Brut IPA’s I’ve had.

On tap. Poured a hazy, golden color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of melon, orange and floral notes. Sweet caramel and fruitiness with a mild bitterness.
