12 oz. can, 6.3% ABV, Best By Date: 08/20/2022
AROMA: Sweet with just a touch of dankness. Scents of pine, hops, mango, and lemon.
APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy light-amber with a huge, white, tight-foamed head that dissipates slowly with very good lacing.
TASTE: The front-end and back-end are both on the sweet side. Predominant flavors are, some kind of sweet citrus (could be orange, mango, or tangerine), peaches, and a hint of pine during the finish.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with a slightly dry texture. Carbonation is above average.
OVERALL: I'm not sure why I expected this to be on the bitter side, but it isn't. So I was surprised to find that it is mildly sweet, through and through, with just a touch of bitterness at the very end of the finish. To be honest, I don't know how I truly feel about this beer. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. I guess I would say that I like it, but wished that it had just a little more "something" to tip the scales more towards the "love" side. What that "something" is, I don't know. And that's what's driving me crazy trying to figure out. The tropical fruit flavors are very nice, as is the head, and the body and texture are on par for an IPA. If I had to pick something to improve, I would say maybe a little less dry and a bit more aroma. At any rate, the beer is more than good enough for me to proclaim that I won't be saying "no thanks" if offered one of these.

Pours to a hazy golden-green color with a thick long-lasting head. Light hints of wheat, pine, and pear aroma. Tastes of pear and bread. The aftertaste is slightly tart and creamy. A well-good beer that hits a bit differently.

This beer pours a semi murky golden color. The head is 2 finger, white, and long lasting. There's a bit of lacing on the glass.
The aroma has some tropical hop aroma in it.
Taste - Well ,this is an odd duck to me. There's a decent amount of malts here that give a bread/biscuit flavor. There's also a bit of hops that give a tropical mango flavor. No bitterness/ pine at all.
The body is creamy feeling, huh? I guess full body, but creamy?
This beer confuses me. Is it an IPA? I really don't know. I do like the flavor, but I am not sure where this fits in to an IPA.

Best served at 38°
Azacca Simcoe and Citra Cryo hops.
Look: Slight haze to a pale golden color, white foam head spreads out quick but is towering at the pour, leaves plenty of lace behind.
Nose: Sour and sweet fruity hops aroma, with some light, earthy grasses and tangy citrus.
Feel & Flavor: Light to medium body, crisp, then smooth feel with light orange style fruits, tangy, sour and sweet tones. Grassy herbal backdrop with a hefty kick of golden malted grain flavor's for balance.
Overall: I find the cryo style hops a bit mild in flavor, serve it cool will always make it a bit mundane in complexity, but certainly worthy of partaking during the hot summer months adventures.

Clear pale gold appearance with a medium size white head and light lacing. A hint of tropical fruit in the aroma but not much else. Taste is more assertive, as the hops step up to deliver a little bit of punch. Modest sweetness with a crisp, dry mouthfeel.

12 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson SC ($1.79) with a July 7 2022 BB date stamped on the bottom.
Appearance. Clear golden body with a good white head.
Aroma. Mild with fruity hops dominant.
This IPA features tropical fruit notes with subtle hints of bread and grass. It's mild for the style, including lower than average bitterness. Well balanced. The mouthfeel seems a bit too thin but has a semi-dry finish.
Overall. An IPA that's well designed for hot weather drinking?

Bought at Liquor Shed. Best by August 7th 2022.
Pours a clear gold with almost 2 fingers of foam. It shrinks slowly and leaves some lacing behind.
Smell is light citrus, light tropical fruit, some toasted malt.
Taste is light citrus, some tropical fruit...bit of melon but not too much. Too much melon isn't a good thing to my palate. Some toasted malt.
Good body, very drinkable and yeah, it is on the drier side.
I am reasonably impressed.

Another great IPA achievement from Sweetwater. Not overly citric but it has bright fruity notes. A very refreshing IPA at 6.3 ABV.
