Received in a trade.
L- Pours a hazy orange, almost copper color with a mountainous head!
S- Dank is an understatement for the aroma. Very nice malt notes, too.
T- Sticky resinous piney flavor with tropical fruit. Very good malt backbone, too.
F- Full lush mouthfeel with subtle carbonation.
O- Outstanding!

Holy alcohol burn. This stuff is not smooth at all. There's not enough hops or malt to distract you from the booze. It's a freaking booze bomb. I should have read the package better. I saw hazy and I grabbed it. I didn't look at the alcohol content. I would have went with something else. Not that I'm against a high percentage IPA or imperial versions they just aren't my go-to beers. That's because usually the brewery can't hide it very well. This is totally the case with this beer. It reminds me of that high gravity lager call 211 or 311 that bums drink. Every sip of this beer makes me react like I'm doing a shot. Even ice cold it's not bearable for me. It's not the worst beer I've ever had but it's definitely sub-mediocre. I will never drink this beer again. If you're reading this review and on the fence about it get something else.

Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is gold, slight chill but not 'hazy' by any stretch; head is off white with fine bubbles and presents 1/2 inch thick, head dissipates to thin top and no lacing.
Smell is herbal, earth, light pine with sweeter malt with a caramel and light honey notes.
Taste is similar with earth, herbal, pine hop notes backed by sweet malt with caramel and honey notes; not typical hazy notes or presence.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness.
Overall a decent IPA but not really a hazy or dank IPA, more strong, a little sweet and moderately bitter.

Look - 12 oz can purchased at the brewery. poured into a small plastic cup. slightly hazy, dark golden in color, with a large frothy head that has excellent lacing retention.
Smell - pine and citrus, with plenty of dank as advertised. some underlying malts detetable, though hop notes are by far much more dominant.
Taste - danky hops with moderate bitterness, with a tad bit of sweetness possibly from alcohol. finish is long notes of pine resin and citrus, along with alcohol warming.
Feel - medium bodied, above average carbonation, and relatively strong at 9% ABV.
Overall - although not my favorite style, this is a potent and danky ipa with plenty of flavor and complexity.

Look: creamy head, deep gold, good lacing
Smell: piney, resinous, hints of krippy weed from the can
Taste: piney, resinous, apricot, orange marmalade, caramel
Feel: med body, moderate carbo
Overall: 9% abv. Let's start with the scent. Straight up piney and resinous with hints of krippy weed from the can. That's legit. Taste follows with apricot, orange marmalade and caramel. That's tasty AF. Much restraint was needed as this brew goes down too easy. Try to take your time with this Dank Double Hazy IPA which I picked up at Walmart for $11 beano's for a sixer. Wait, what? Pair this underrated brew with Under the Blade by Twisted Sister and enjoy!

A - Dark copper gold pour with a slight bit of haze and a dense ring of bright white lacing.
S - Dank, weedy, herbal aroma dominates the 'ol nostrils.
T - Light caramel malt base with nice dank herbal, weedy citrus over top ending with a slightly bitter finish and a lingering citrus resin on the palate.
M - Solid medium body with lots of prickly carbonation.
O - This is really quite good and worth a look.

12oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on glass. It smelled dank and funky with sweet caramel and fruity notes. Dank and juicy with toasted caramel and a fruity kick.

Pretty obvious that the people at Sweetwater have never seen or tasted a hazy IPA before, as this is definitely not one. It’s not necessarily bad or anything, but nothing like a hazy. A bit malty for my taste, but it is pretty potent, and not unpleasant, so I’ll finish it, but certainly wouldn’t buy it again.
