Light caramel malt with a touch of wheat gives this seasonal amber ale a refreshing finish with a little bite. Our partnership with Georgia Aquarium helps support their research and conservation efforts.

Appearance: Pours a hazy, dark bronze-colored body - hey, wait a minute, there's nothing red or amber about it at all, appearance-wise. An inch or so of off-white, frothy head. Good lacing, though.
Smell: A modest, lightly sweet-scented sniff of old-fashioned caramel malts with a backing of bready barley. Mildly citrusy, leaning towards grapefruit with some subtler florals and woodsy hints. Pulls in a bit more spice as it warms.
Taste: Bready barley, minutely toasty with an initial pop of blonde caramel sweetness. The caramel malts transition to a citrusy fruitiness of mild grapefruit, also a faint hint of lemon. A little floral, a bit woody. Medium bitterness. Lightly drying with a loose, low-key creaminess on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Well, I supposed somebody had to take up the task of partnering with the Georgia Aquarium after Red Brick/Atlanta Brewing fell by the wayside. They went a bit light (even lighten than expected) in its characteristics all across the board. A fine, easy-drinking pal-errr, I mean, amber ale.
