Hazy Imperial IPA. After 4 months of tilling and and hoeing, Farmer MacDanknugs was cockeyed with anticipation, ready to reap his reward of fresh sticky nugs. Firing up his supercharged John Beere, ol’ MacDank blazed straight down to plow some primo Amarillo, Citra, and Simcoe, harvesting the funkiest hop buds to cap off this succulent unfiltered 8% Double IPA. Our farmer drifted into a happy haze from the aromas of grapefruit, passion fruit and orange, daydreaming of the juicy brew to come.

Brought this one into BeerNV. Pours a dark gold, leaning into a light amber aspect. 1/3" white head.
Weird buttery aroma that wasn't diacetyl, still showed a moderate amount of Nugget(?) hoppiness, but still weird nonetheless. I still liked the taste. But that aroma had me wondering.
The taste brought that almost forgotten Nugget impact on both taste and mouthfeel. Plenty bitter, but not overly so. Aspects of tree to it. Grapefruit, orange rind citrus hits throughout, no doubt a possible Citra contribution, but also just as much from the bittering hop(s). Also an increased sticky malt aspect to it to, drinks maltier than the appearance. Has the light combo sting of both bitterness and booziness. There wasn't really a marijuana aspect to the beer despite the obvious yet plausible deniability reference.
I believe I would have enjoyed this slightly more as a single ipa. All things considered, the doubling up brought out some of the bitterness and booziness upward.

Good hazy DIPA, but was hoping for more dankness by its name.

Draft in pint glass. Pours a hazy gold with a nice off-white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is orange, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, and a bit of caramel sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium thick and bordering on sticky. Finish is fairly sweet, but nicely balanced with the hops. Overall, a very enjoyable DIPA.

Plithy, earthy, piney and tropical notes on the nose. Taste is similar and this beer is bitter throughout. Definitely not for everyone, but certain hopheads will enjoy this.

Pretty good, hops lie more towards pine than citrus. The bitterness is a bit harsh.

A - Dark gold color with nice clarity, steady carbonation, and frothy white lacing that hangs out on top and sticks to the sides of the glass.
S - Sticky citrus aroma: Tangerine, nectarine, juicy citrus, sweet red grapefruit.
T - Candied tangerine, nectarine, citrus, and orange. Ends on the sweeter citrus side with a little bit of cloying sweetness. A little bit of booziness permeates through but overall pretty subdued. Nice lingering tangerine and grapefruit.
M - Big body with a silky texture.
O - This is definitely a citrusy dank one.
