Pours a thin head on a hazy straw colored body.
The aroma is a mild and faint grain smell.
The taste has a nice honey sweetness with some mild bitterness to balance it out.
The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation.
Not bad, but the appearance and aroma could be better.

On-tap at the brewery. Imperial pint.
A: Lightly cloudy iced-tea amber body with a finger of dense white head on top. Head faded to a thin collar leaving spotty, wispy, lace down the glass.
S: Homebrew yeast scent to it with notes of peppery spices and a mild earthy hoppiness. Doesn’t scream saison to me like the taste does.
T: Peppery yeast, cracker malt, sweet overtones, earthy spicy hops and a hint of banana, clove and citrus. The aftertaste is lemony and drying.
M: Tight fluffy carbonation, medium-full body, smooth drinkable mouth.
O: Maybe needs some polishing but I’d drink this again. It’s just not as great as many other saisons on the market.
