Pours a honey color with little head. On tap at Whole Foods.
Aroma is a nice bouquet of tropical fruits. Some grassy hop notes. A decent amount of barnyard funk.
Funky, tropical, and sour. Very citrus with a moderate tartness. Lots of lacto notes. Grassy hops with a small crushed aspirin-like bitterness. Some peach and melon character finish the sip. A little Brett also.
Overall, a good sour but a little too much hop bitterness. I see it pairing well with a mixed cheese grilled cheese. It gets a 79.5/100.

There is not much in the flavor profile other than the brett yeast and the barrel but that said it is still a very tasty beer, just missing that Belgian farmhouse character.

Brewer describes this as aged in red wine barrels and brewed with 100 percent Brettanomyces. On tap at Fathom on Shelter Island. Light body. Not much carbonation.
There is some coarse froth at first in the Delirium Tremens tulip. Yellow brew that fades to nearly flat after a couple minutes. Flavor is just unvarnished brett. Not unpleasant, just very plain. there is just the barest hint of malt. It's slightly tart but not at all sour. Mineral finish. Not very appealing, especially compared to more complex and flavorful brett brews.

Pours hazy light orange, could be lighter, but it is so fucking dark in Bittercreek... Nice white head.. Nice is punchy sour ... a little acetic and vinous.. Light pale malt character and hints of apricot.. Still the sour and the barrel notes are the big players despite being a lower ABV brew.

Poured a light, cloudy "orangish" body with decent head/lace; cloudiness is thanks to good amount of yeast. Smooth, easy drinking beer that has both an aroma of taste that can be described as having a minimal fruit sweetness that underscores a vinous, woody type of sour funkiness. I like this beer b/c unlike most other similar beers (aged, wine barrels, sour, saison, you name it) the ABV is low and this beer is light bodied and real easy to drink.

Had on tap at Cellar 3 tasting room. Described there as Belgian style saison aged with brett in red wine barrels. Wonderfully well balanced beer that had great sour character. Exceptionally good on all counts. Probably my favorite flavor of all the beers tried that day.
