Light hoppish taste, quite refreshing. Caramel-brown colour. Thin foam which goes down rather quickly.
Edition from St Feuillien and Green Flash Brewing Co. - Friendship Brew
Not my kind of beer, but very good experience overall. The beer is fresh, goes well with meals. I liked it, but not so that I would buy it every now and then.

On tap at the Rackhouse in Denver.
Listed simply as a Black Saison at 5.7%.
Pours black with a big brown head.
Aroma of black cherry soda, liquorice, flowers, perfume, sage, rosemary, anise, lavender.
Medium carbonation and penetrating mouthfeel.
Flavors are strong of herbs, burnt roasted malts, toast, rosemary, sage, clove, lavender. Overall way too strong on the herbs.
