Enjoy this American Wheat Ale anytime. As you pop the seal, the blueberry aroma comes blasting out at you like a ferocious spring wind. Subtle hop flavors provided from Cascade and Mt. Hood hops are the perfect compliment to this wheat-based beer. Before you know it, you are at the bottom of the can and opening another.

L: Pours a yellow orange color with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.

S: Sweet juicy blueberry followed by a nice toasted wheat. Blueberry is very pronounced.

T: Sweet fresh blueberry followed by a nice toasted wheat. Blueberry is very pronounced but not overwhelming.

F: Smooth medium body.

O: This is a very enjoyable blueberry beer and I usually don't like blueberry.

Golden yellow body; lots of fine and lively carbonation; thick, billowy head, creamy on top. Prominent blueberry note in the aroma, but not overpowering. Taste has a low presence of blueberry with a slight cereal grain note; very low bitterness, most noticeable at the finish. Medium-light body; a bit thin; semi-dry taste overall.

This beer looks and smells great but the taste is rather dull and watery. The hop bitterness (such as it is) is the most lasting and distinctive aspect of the flavors. Still, not bad if blueberry flavor and aroma are something you like in a beer.

12 oz. Can
Enjoy By: 10/27/18
ABV: 4.8%

Poured into a DFH glass a pretty nice clean/clear dark golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, wheaty, with some blueberries. The taste is malty, wheaty, blueberries. Medium body, ABV is hidden nicely. Overall, a tasty brew.

12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a small white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves little lacing.

The aroma is sweet malt and artificial sugary blueberry.

The flavor is sweet wheat malt and blueberry fruity pebbles. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.

Overall, too sweet and artificial tasting for me.

can from the mixed pack, not my favorite one in the box, but something a little different. i think its a tad over flavored, the blueberry seems more like a syrup or an extract or something than it does the real fruit, and thats mostly because of how sweet it is. the wheat malt flavor is lost to it a bit, so its almost more like a juice than a beer, but the flavor is still quite good. there is plenty of body in this from the wheat, and its well carbonated and low alcohol, so i think it makes sense overall, it just doesnt need quite so much of the blueberry sweetness in it. these guys make some really interesting beers, and have one of the coolest taprooms in the state, so i am always down to support what they do, but this doesnt seem quite up to their high standards that i am used to, a little more of a gimmicky kind of thing. the can is beautiful though, and the beer isnt bad at all, it just doesnt come across as real blueberries to me. it would be better if it were dryer, but i still enjoyed a can of it.

No dating on the can.

Pours a clear pale gold, average head of foam with short longevity.

Blueberries and to a lesser extent, wheat in the nose. More of a sweetish nose than a tart one.

Blueberries in the taste with a more substantial wheat flavour. Very little tartness but also very little sweetness. Pretty balanced.

Decent flavours going on here for the lowish abv but I reckon I won't see buying more in my future.
